Close Paraphrase

[edit]

Most of the article seems to be a close paraphrase of [1]. Someone with more knowledge of her should edit as appropriate.—C45207 | Talk 00:51, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Legalwatchdog, I don't doubt what you say in your edit summary [2]. However, whether you wrote the article before finding the IMDB biography or after is not relevant here: the appearance of the article is what is relevant. To me, the large sections of the article seem like they are a close paraphrase of the IMDB biography. For example, "when she was fifteen years old, actor R.S. Manohar saw photographs of her from a dance performance and sent them to major Tamil star M.G. Ramachandran" (from [3]) vs. "When she was fifteen years old, actor R.S. Manohar saw photographs of her from a dance performance and showed them to major Tamil star M. G. Ramachandran" (from Latha). Perhaps an IMDB editor pulled your content from this article, but we cannot be sure, so I think the {{closeparaphrase}} still stands. I have restored it. Thanks for following up.—C45207 | Talk 04:32, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
