Christmas carol?

[edit]

This is for St. Nicholas, - how is it a Christmas carol? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:27, 28 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Although agree with the objection to "Christmas carol", I note that it's published in Unsere Weihnachtslieder (1957). The German Wikipedia categorises it as Category:Advent songs which also strike me as wrong. How about Category:Songs about Santa Claus? -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 09:03, 28 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, Michael! The category: depends on meaning Saint Nicholas or the de:Weihnachtsmann, and would match only the former. - These songs that are not quite Christmas songs wouldn't fill a book, therefore are published togeteher with the others, but we could do better. I haven't heard this sung for Christmas. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:10, 28 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
