I don't know why anyone would make the unfounded assertion that I am "close" to the subject of this post (as shown at the top of my entry). What proof is there of that? Mr. Jordan is a professional colleague whom I have admired, that's all, and I think he deserves to be acknowledged on Wikipedia. You said it yourself: "I just added a page for an author friend of mine". You're a friend of his, and created this article about your friend for him.
