Fair use rationale for Image:Larafabianenglishcover.jpg

[edit]

Image:Larafabianenglishcover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The image Image:Lara Fabian-Lara Fabian.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Adagio

[edit]

Forgot to add this on my edit summary. I changed the wikilink to Adagio to further distinguish it from the other articles similarly named Adagio. Maybe a separate article about the specific Lara Fabian song would be nice, but in the meantime the only information we have now is that it's derived from the piece attributed to Albinoni (and as you can see, this one's not the only adaptation of the said piece.) Thanks. --- Tito Pao (talk) 01:49, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mention of covers of Adagio should not be made in the article, because it's a 1958 song and she is merely one of the many people who have sung it, so she is not the original interpreter: The way it is said in the article it seems those people mentioned have covered her song, which is not the case at all. These covers should be listed in the song's page. 84.55.203.120 (talk) 23:05, 14 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Lara Fabian (2000 album). Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}).
