Does anyone really live in Laporte SK?

My father Bryer Carpenter was the CNR station agent there in 1926-1927. I have a number of photos that he took there then. Like all CNR stations, there was a location/date stamp there then that my father would have used to stamp in-coming documents. Twenty years ago I discovered that Lance Smith in Mount Joy, PA had acquired the brass stamp from a number of CNR stations. I purchased that stamp from Laporte, and Warden Junction, AB, where my father worked when he left Laporte.
