NPOV

Is it possible to make this article more neutral, fact-based, etc? --zenohockey 03:44, 4 Mar 2005 (UTC)

This information is from Lane's website, which has lots of facts about Lane. Zenohockey is invited to visit the website for facts.

History Section

Once there is a history section (and LCC's history is interesting enough to merit one), there are two bits of trivia to add to it. One, about the filming of the movie Getting Straight, (see Eugene, Oregon) and two, about the Grateful Dead playing a benefit concert for LCC and White Bird Clinic on the campus in 1970. Geography and Architecture

Lane is outside the city limits of Eugene, not in "extreme southeast Eugene" - a fact easily verified by looking at this map. [3] Also, the College is not "built into a hillside." Buildings 3 and 19 have parts of their foundations built below grade, but the other sixteen concrete-and-steel buildings are free-standing. I made minor corrections accordingly. Potential COI declaration

Before my retirement in 2013, I had been employed by Lane Community College. When I first began editing Wikipedia, I substantially edited the LCC article without being aware of COI guidelines, but I believe I have contributed only non-controversial edits, basing any information I have added, revised, or deleted only on reliable sources, without advocating for the institution. However, I recognize that COI may involve sub-conscious or unintentional advocacy; thus, I welcome review of this article by other editors and related conversations on this talk page. — Grand'mere Eugene (talk) 22:38, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
