- Lampropeltis triangulum annulata → Mexican milk snake
- Lampropeltis triangulum campbelli → Pueblan milk snake
- Lampropeltis triangulum gaigeae → Black milk snake
- Lampropeltis triangulum hondurensis → Honduran milk snake
- Lampropeltis triangulum sinaloae → Sinaloan milk snake
- Lampropeltis triangulum syspila → Red milk snake
- Lampropeltis triangulum triangulum → Eastern milk snake
– These various milk snake subspecies each appear to have a well-established unambiguous common name, so we should use that name as the article title per WP:COMMONNAME / WP:NCFAUNA. —BarrelProof (talk) 20:48, 25 August 2015 (UTC)
