template doesn't display shapes

[edit]
what i could see 2020-05-10 23:00 Australian time. Irtapil (talk) 13:47, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Is anyone seeing this character display correctly on this page? The character is not available in most fonts, it works in some nastaliq fonts so the {{uninastaliq}} or {{nastaliq}} or {{nq}} templates might help, but the {{Arabic alphabet shapes}} template does not work with most nastaliq fonts because many of them are missing tatweel. position isolated end middle start

‍ࣇ ‍ࣇ‍ ࣇ‍
footnote forms are created using zero width joiner ( U+200D, &#8205 ) because most fonts containing this character do not include tatweel .

i tried, but my version doesn't work either. Irtapil (talk) 13:25, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

it won't even connect to bah. Irtapil (talk) 13:47, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

it must be displaying in SIL Awami Nastaliq, which doesn't work in most browsers.Irtapil (talk) 13:47, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

form
  لؕ   ‍لؕ ‍لؕ‍ لؕ‍
footnote forms are created using ل combined with diacritic ـــؕــ  and zero width joiner ( U+200D, &#8205 ) to show position because very few fonts include the character , and fonts which do often will not join it correctly.

now the toe is in the wrong spot and the zero width joiners still don't work... Irtapil (talk) 13:47, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

i think the last one works best? Irtapil (talk) 13:56, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, you are correct. There is a lack of font support as well encoding support but i didn't know how to manage it. I have briefly tweaked your edit Taimoorahmed11 (talk) 02:47, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
