A quick comment on the income level of the discussion. Many of the residents of LOP are retired, so the income is artificially depressed, and the number of families below the poverty line is artificially increased from people in actual poverty. However, as one of the few really nice areas in this part of California where housing prices are not insane, it is attracting lots more families with children under 18.
