[edit]This is a request to remove the speedy deletion tag from this page.
Lake Tawakoni, being a manmade reservoir for water conservation/ supply purposes has physical information about it, i.e area, conservation pool, elevation which are exact numbers are going to be the same which ever way you write it.
I can delete the portion on the State park which you suspect may violate copyright regulation. But If you look at other Lake Information on this website, they are pretty similar to this one and come from some source.
I am an engineer currently working on a project involving Lake Tawakoni and intend to continue to update this page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rzoun (talk • contribs)
- The copyright issue was the only problem. Rewriting the article solves that problem. (By the way, always remember to sign your messages with four tildes at the end, like this: ~~~~. It makes it easier to respond to you if there are issues of some kind. Thanks!) Realkyhick 18:02, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
Spiderweb
[edit]I don't know whether ap.org links stay around long-term, or whether the entomologists in question are likely to publish it scientifically, but here's an article with a bit more on results of real study of this thing: Experts: Spiders Spin Giant Web in Texas, Sep 11, 2007, 9:29 PM EDT (Information from: The Dallas Morning News). Some of the people mentioned were Hank Guarisco, of Fort Hays State University, Mike Quinn, a biologist for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, and Allen Dean of Texas A&M University. Iron Bridge Dam
[edit]Lake Tawakoni is contained by Iron Bridge Dam. Tawakoni Balancing Reservoir, with its associated levee, is a separate City Of Dallas-owned reservoir located a few miles west of L. Tawakoni. I've corrected the article, citing the Sabine River Authority. Eastcheap (talk) 04:35, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
