Religious / Sacred?

This page is in the categories Religious places of the Indigenous peoples of North America and Sacred lakes of the Americas. I don't see what in the article justifies these categories. Does "Long Island folklore" really justify putting this page in the Locations in Native American mythology category? The sources don't specifically say that, and it strikes me as just a story made up by European descendants featuring a Native American. -- Pemilligan (talk) 22:04, 6 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
