Re: "a song that appeared on re-releases of the band's eponymous debut album The White Stripes." Only on CD reissues. Not vinyl. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.156.45.27 (talk) 18:10, 28 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

[edit]

This single is by a world famous band. It is a rare and highly collectable item to the extent that it is far more valuable per unit than any modern, White Stripes standard release (it's currently on ebay.co.uk for around $240). Lafayette Blues also has Detroit as its main subject matter, and Thw White Stripes are closely linked with detroit and have a very Detroit sound. That aside, this is clearly a notable single and it's dumb to think otherwise. Fifty ways (talk) 16:04, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Stub status

[edit]

I've removed the stub status from this page - I've been working on expanding a few of The White Stripes' singles pages and though no doubt more could be done to this page (can't it always?) it's reasonably exhaustive though short. Fifty ways (talk) 18:42, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
