Observations in the UK

[edit]

The following anecdotal observations were in the main article. They're not referenced or encyclopaedic so probably ought to be removed entirely. I've left them here in case the original authors return and want to cite them properly:

  • Edit: 1 male has been sighted in Crudwell by multiple residents. So at least 1 wild bird is still alive in the UK.
  • Angela King was amazed to spot one of the birds strolling across her lawn in Crudwell, Wilts. 26 September 2017
  • At least 2 other residents in the area have seen and photographed the bird. So there is still at least 1.
