    Pass/Fail:

Hi, @MaranoFan. My schedule is already free, so the delay was more due to laziness than anything else. Now I am beginning the promised serious review of the article. I'd also like to review "The Grudge"; however, if I fail in punctuality and consistency with this review, it is better not to promise anything before I get into trouble. Anyway, what's better than two livies keeping an eye on this article 🇮🇳🇨🇴? Best, Santi (talk) 19:25, 8 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Highly looking forward to it. This is probably my favorite track on the album. Should be fun! Thanks a lot for the help; seriously, you're doing God's work. I wouldn't want to get a scolding for keeping up too many Liv nominations, haha.--NØ 04:56, 9 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Bakground and promotion

[edit]
  • Everything's fine in my opinion. In fact, for your information, nobody will give you a scolding for this, Ippantekina has already done the same with TTPD XD. What I read made me want to really write a song these days or during my college period; because I have so many ideas in my head but I never finish any of them hehe. Also, I really miss when NYT and Vogue were free; now spotcheck is a challenge because of that shit. Santi (talk) 21:10, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Composition

[edit]
  • Done.
  • Yeah, it's NYT. You can see the archive here. It says Guts "leans heavily into" theatrical folk with "Lacy" in brackets.
  • Critics likened the song's lyrical theme to Dolly Parton's 1973 single "Jolene". Maybe my doubts are because I still don't know well the diference between Composition and Critical reception, but I think this fact will be better in next section. Santi (talk) 21:41, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Imo these types of lyrical comparisons which help readers better understand the lyrical themes read better in the Composition (and lyrics) section. Critical reception is generally the more subjective stuff, like individual critics thinking whether a song is good or bad.
You're doing a great job, Santi! Excited for this to be promoted soon so we can at least get one out of the queue.--NØ 01:25, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Pollosito: Pinging again. I just wanted you to know that this is me trying that a full spotcheck is not a mandatory requirement for a GAN to be passed. I wouldn't want you to overwork yourself. I would have been happier.mp3 if this was a quicker pass :3 Would it be okay to expect the review to be concluded within 2-4 more days?--NØ 03:26, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@MaranoFan: Sorry. I had ICFES yesterday, and the last days I was preparing myself for it. I'll return to the review just now. Santi (talk) 15:38, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • I notice you put a picture of Bardot in the section. I don't know if this is appropriate (especially with the description it has) because, as we can see in the liner notes, Nigro also participated in the composition, so we cannot affirm if it was Rodrigo or Nigro precisely who wrote that part. Santi (talk) 15:43, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Adjusted the caption. The inclusion of the image itself should be fine since it is now public domain and helps readers understand the physical descriptions of Lacy in the lyrics.--NØ 15:55, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Critical reception

[edit]

Commercial performance

[edit]
  • Well sourced and coherent, but I don't like too much many nouns and replacements about the song's name, but, since "Obsessed" has the same structure, I'll pass this at all anyway, 'cause it's better that all the songs articles on an album to have the same structure, right?
