I have deleted the statement that this is an heirloom plant. According to the heirloom plant article, this would imply it is not widely available commercially - which is not true, at least in the UK. I question that this article should be called "Lacinato Kale". This appears to be a recent US commercial name and not the traditional name in either English or in Italian — Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.175.66.57 (talk) 05:54, 13 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
