Assessment - Canada
[edit]I disagree with the "low" assessment, since the Lachine Canal used to represent the industrial heartland of Canada. 70.55.84.101 (talk) 06:30, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

The size of the locks and the size of ships.
[edit]What is the size of the locks and the size of the largest ships able to navigate the canal? Compare Rideau Canal#Rideaumax, Panamax, Suezmax and Seawaymax to see the relevance. Peter Horn User talk 13:33, 18 April 2018 (UTC)
- I asked the questions more than four years ago, but so far no answers. I would immagine them to be as large as those of the Soulanges Canal. Peter Horn User talk 14:13, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
