Updating the article in the last 30 years (history)
[edit]The article currently sort of ends (in regards to history) with:
"In 1987 Domei and Churitsu Roren were dissolved and amalgamated into the newly established National Federation of Private Sector Unions (連合 RENGO), and in 1990 Sōhyō affiliates merged with Rengo."
Now, from the numbers of about 18% unionized, I guess unions only play a minor role in Japan these days. But still, it would be interesting to explain why that is so. I assume there are many factors, but it would be nice to see this part of the history expanded, so that a normal person coming to wikipedia may understand a bit better why unions are not as popular in Japan anymore. 2A02:8388:1600:A200:3AD5:47FF:FE18:CC7F (talk) 00:42, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
