Different Photo Possible?=

[edit]

The one that is on the page now seems exceptionally misleading. Not only because I know that the mission that people visit looks nothing like the current photo, but also because the linked site has a better and more current picture, can we get a new photo here? Merger with La Purísima Mission State Historic Park

[edit]

I feel like this article should be merger with La Purísima Mission State Historic Park. They are both about the mission and it's surroundings, and both give a history of the mission. --Corysn123🚀 📞talk 14:02, 8 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Several years ago, Corysn123 proposed merging La Purísima Mission State Historic Park into this article. I think that is the right call and I also think that Site of original mission and remaining ruins of La Purisima Mission should be merged into this article as well. There's so much overlap between these three articles and none are particularly long such that it seems silly to have them all as independent articles. Absent consensus to the contrary, I plan to merge these together in the next week or so. DocFreeman24 (talk) 01:33, 20 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Completely agree with DocFreeman24 (talk · contribs) and previous proposal by Corysn123 (talk · contribs). All three should be merged into a single article called La Purísima Mission. Cristiano Tomás (talk) 22:17, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@DocFreeman24: support both merges, as proposed. Klbrain (talk) 19:00, 24 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
