Review
[edit]- Background and composition
- This section has its first 9 sentences unsourced. Some of them might be covered by the liner notes, but i have my doubts over the next:
- ""La Llamada" was the first song recorded for Live! (1993)."
- "The song was intended to be one of three studio tracks for Selena's Live! album."
- "Astudillo and Quintanilla III had spent an hour writing a song together."
- "They wanted to write a song that many woman face with their boyfriends. Quintanilla III had wanted to empower woman letting them know that they should hold their heads up and remember that life goes on." and
- "Selena favored the lyrical content and central theme, which she commonly done in her career."
- Yes they all belong to FN#1 Selena's family and friends gave commentaries for each track. Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 16:14, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
- Ok. Great. —Hahc21 16:24, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

- Critical
- "Sue Anne Pressley of the Chicago Sun-Times believed "La Llamada" is a "fan favorite"," >> "Sue Anne Pressley of the Chicago Sun-Times believed "La Llamada" to be a "fan favorite"," or "Sue Anne Pressley of the Chicago Sun-Times believed that "La Llamada" is a "fan favorite","
- "though commented that the song is the least memorable song on Live!." >> "commented that it was the least memorable song on Live!."
- Why? How can someones comments towards a song they criticize be past-tense? I can't find any source that indicated s/he changed their minds, so the sentence would have to be in present-tense tone. Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 16:14, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
- Ups. What I meant is that you used "the song" twice too closely: "that the song is the least memorably song..."

- Charts
- Split table into two: each one for each year. Also, why it says "Unknown" on the peak for "US Billboard Regional Mexican Digital Songs"? Until the chart position is available, the chart entry must go.
—Hahc21 05:22, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
- (a) please look at this FA song, (b) the peak positions are only available for subscribers which I am not, so it's a Billboard chart which makes it notable enough for inclusion unless there are guidelines that suggest otherwise? Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 16:14, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, but all those entries has their respective positions. I know some of the charts are subsc-only, but if you cannot look at the position, then you may not include it until you find it, since it's useless to say it charted on A if you do not provide the peak. —Hahc21 16:18, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
- Can you further explain please? I don't see any difference from the FA song article to this one. Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 17:52, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
- On Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It), all charts has their correct peak position. Example: Czech Airplay Chart, the position is No.13; Japan Hot 100, the position is No.25. None of the charts there says "unknown" on the "peak position" field. —Hahc21 19:49, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
- Because Jivesh can find those sources using Billboard, however, the site does not include many other charts such as the one listed here. It is a notable chart, solely because it is published by Billboard, so me just removing a chart the song peaked on makes no sense. Right now the peak is not, and maybe, never will be available but I see no guideline that states charts with unknown peak positions should be removed. Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 02:45, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
- Hey why did you removed it? I was looking for if it could be kept or not. Well, sorry for the delay. All has been fixed. I'll be in touch to find an answer for the chart "curiosity", if I can call it that way. —Hahc21 23:25, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
It'll go on hold until those issues are solved and i'll provide more comments. —Hahc21 05:24, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
- I left comments. Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 16:14, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
- All fixed. I'm passing. And, hey, Poquita Ropa is ready? —Hahc21 23:25, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
- I'm heading that way now. Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 23:28, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
