Train from Marseille

[edit]

Correct departing station from Marseille is Gare de Marseille Saint-Charles, no? No reference authority for "Marseille de Provence" was given in original edit.Dogru144 (talk) 15:22, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You are correct. Gare de Marseille Saint Charles is the origin of trains for La Ciotat --Mdoubledragon (talk) 13:32, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

City?

[edit]

La Ciotat is referred to as a "city". Why? Is there a formal French definition? Is there a cathedral (a commonly used indicator). Or has the name just been used as correct? La Ciota's own website refers to "ville". I notice that the language style seems to be US, where the term "city" is much more widely applied than normal in Europe. When I get time, unless there's a reasonable explanation, I'll change this. Folks at 137 (talk) 21:58, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
