Where does this come from?
[edit]I am new to Wikipedia's talk section and I am not sure that I am using it correctly. But here goes. Can someone out there please clue me in as to the source for this article? I have been reseraching the Akkad dynasty off and on for a number of years and have seen the Sargon legend in english translation many times in many places. All of them I have ever seen say the same thing about Sargon's father. "My father I did not know". This info is important to my research and I would love to verify this as it goes against all I have previously read. the only mention of this person elsewhere on the web are simply articles that site the wikipedia article

- I found this source:[1]. It suggests that a fragment of text is all that anyone knows about Sargon's father, and even that seems to be in doubt. That said, I'm no expert on ancient history. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 05:50, 11 January 2021 (UTC)
