Inaccurate Information

[edit]

This is ridiculous. Totally unsourced: "there are a rough estimate of 219,520 predominantly gay men and 615,000 men who have sex with men". Colombian men do not screw each other in the rear. This behavior is for gringos. - comment left by 181.57.246.185, 30 January 2018 (why would this comment be left up? maybe its good that the world knows that people are still incredibly ignorant here)

Because it is unsourced, and because I was unable to find a source, I removed this paragraph from the article: "Some research of the National Department of Statistics indicate that in the capital Bogotá, there are a rough estimate of 219,520 predominantly gay men and 615,000 men who have sex with men (MSMs). The numbers for women vary between 48,000 and 96,000. An extrapolation to the entire country's population estimates nearly a million gay men, 2.5 million MSMs and 350,000 lesbians." I assume that "the National Department of Statistics" refers to Colombia's Dane (dane.gov.co), but I was still unable to find a source. This gringo -- that is, myself -- has found a newer, different set of statistics published in El Tiempo, Colombia's newspaper of record, which I have added to the article as a replacement. - Tuckerlieberman (talk) 16:09, 15 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
