No more mirrors ?

[edit]

The site seems to have closed its mirror service. Or they hid it very well. I can't find it any more. I suggest adding an external link into the article, pointing to the mirror, or updating the article to say that there are no more mirrors. --Xerces8 (talk) 13:01, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the article by removing the 'mirror' parts —Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.12.162.222 (talk) 09:00, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
From the LEO website dated 05 December 2008:
A generous offer from our IT provider, IP Exchange GmbH, has enabled us to set up a second location in Nuremberg to which we have moved some of the servers that were previously located in Munich. Both locations now host the same service components and are sufficiently equipped to ensure that queries to our dictionaries can be routed to the second location in the (unlikely) event of a downtime at one site.

Article updated

[edit]

I have partly copyedited and updated the page. I have included a mention of some of the inadequacies of the lexical information submitted to the database by lay users. These are rare, but are neverthleless more frequent than the error rate of professional and/or commercial dictionaries. It would be impossible to cite references to all the examples, but as a lexicographer and heavy user and contributor of LEO, I can confirm that this is so. If anyone comes across such examples, please add one or two references.Kudpung (talk) 05:20, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 8 external links on LEO (website). Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
