Sound
[edit]Is the process of Luder banding what makes for the characteristic creaking sound metal can make as it bends? —BenFrantzDale 03:30, September 2, 2005 (UTC)
- (3.5 years later…) I think it is the twinning, not the Lüders bands, that causes the sound.

Lüders ?
[edit]Hello,
in French, we write Lüders with an s. In Germany, they also put an s but as it is in compound names, it could be the possessive (similar to english "'s").
Who's right ?

Indeed, the name is Lüders with an "s", from W. Lüders. I suggest changing the name of the page to avoid further confusions. Marechad (talk) 21:10, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
