A comment
[edit]Hello everyone,
New editor here, just want to add that it's a little odd that there's no section on the history of this university. Got to this page through a link on the Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki , which states that medical experiments were conducted on US prisoners of war here during the Second World War. Got to this page and was surprised to see no history section at all.

I concur. The university spent decades trying to suppress the inhumane treatment of American POWs by their doctors. It was done with the full knowledge and approval of the university leadership. This page makes no mention of the fact that the event occurred or that the university as a whole was condemned for war crimes.

Orphaned references in Kyushu University
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Kyushu University's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 21:49, 27 February 2021 (UTC)
