[edit]

This article is not consistent in its language, i.e. -ize and -ise, among other things. What English ortpgraphy should be used, British or American? –Holt TC 10:04, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I believe the rule is which ever was there first. :bloodofox: (talk) 00:40, 2 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Possible URV?

[edit]

Found a good bit of this article at http://www3.hi.is/~haukurth/norse/runes/project1bsolutions.html

The question is, did this take from the WP or WP authors from this Icelandic site? No time to check... --WiseWoman (talk) 22:25, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A scientific source turned up by Google: Ivar Lindquist: Religiösa runtexter III. Det vikingatida kvädet på en kopparplåt från södra Kvinneby i Stenåsa socken, Öland; ett tydningsförslag. Efter författarens efterlämnade manuskript utgivet av Gösta Holm. Lund 1987. (Skrifter utgivna av Vetenskapssocieteten i Lund 79). In: Svenska Landsmål och svenskt folkliv, S. 137-145. --WiseWoman (talk) 22:30, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
