[edit]I placed the POV tag when creating the article because it is pasted from a US government website. Because this comes from a US govt source it may not be neutral, but I don't have the expertise to judge. (Hopefully others that know more will simply remove the tag if they think the article looks okay.) Mangostar (talk) 00:12, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
Writing Incomprehensible
[edit]There is something missing in this awkward, rambling sentence. "The United States opened a consulate in Kuwait in October 1951, which was elevated to embassy son between the United States and Kuwait increased in 1987 with the implementation of a maritime protection regime that ensured the freedom of navigation through the Persian Gulf for 11 Kuwaiti tankers that were reflagged with U.S. markings." I have no idea what the writer is trying to say with "which was elevated to embassy son between the United States and Kuwait increased..." Perhaps this is intended to say it was elevated to an embassy status at some unknown date. Perhaps the writer is also trying to say that relations between the United States and Kuwait increased in 1987. Tomandzeke (talk) 04:58, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
Outdated/Unclear
[edit]From the sentence: "Kuwait and the United States worked on a daily basis to monitor and to enforce Iraq's compliance with UN Security Council resolutions, and Kuwait has also provided the main platform for Operation Iraqi Freedom since 2003." removed ", and Kuwait has also provided the main platform for Operation Iraqi Freedom" Kuwait cannot provide the main "platform" for the first gulf war because the first gulf war has ended.Tomandzeke (talk) 05:18, 26 March 2012 (UTC) Additionally the nature and type of platform was unclear.Tomandzeke (talk) 05:23, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
