Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne → Kuurne-Bruxelles-Kuurne — This reflects the naming conventions used for every other cycling race article on Wikipedia - Giro d'Italia is not at Tour of Italy simply because Tour of Italy is the English translation of the race's name. Bruxelles is the French name of the city known as Brussels, yes, but the name in English of this race is Kuurne-Bruxelles-Kuurne - it is favored more than 2 to 1 over Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne in terms of Ghits, and while this does show that "Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne" is used, take for example "Tour of the Basque country" having widespread usage despite that clearly not being that race's official name, or the name we use here. - Oppose Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne, the native name still has a similar high Ghit rate as Kuurne-Bruxelles-Kuurne, so if you want to change it, that's the way to go. (Notwithstanding the sensitivity problem in the Flemish area for French names). --Foroa (talk) 07:18, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
- If that's actually the native name of this race (and certainly, it seems to have equivalent currency in English to Bruxelles, with both ahead of Brussels), then it should be moved to that. Nosleep break my slumber 03:20, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
- First find some sources; preferably in English, so they can tell you what held up means. Then use what they use. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 22:47, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
- The UCI calendar uses "Bruxelles". Hippo (talk) 02:36, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
- Also Brussels, in this link. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 17:08, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
