Administered
[edit]What does it mean to be "administered" by Book Trust and "run" by Tom Maschler --in the words of the cited source; administered and "overseen" in our words? --P64 (talk) 01:00, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
- For some period of time Tom Maschler was the head of publisher Jonathan Cape, according to our biography. While expanding this article today I have learned that Cape published three or four of the KMAward-winning books. --P64 (talk) 18:42, 21 July 2012 (UTC)
Sources
[edit]We should find a more reliable source than ref name=bizland. That webpage lists
- "1992 Raymond Briggs The Man illustrated by Julia MacRae" -- actually ill. Briggs, publ. MacRae
- "1991 Colin McNaughton Guess Who's Just Moved in Next Door" -- which is U.S. title of Have You Seen Who's Just Moved in Next Door to Us?
My source is single WorldCat records that I have located and consulted one by one primarily to identify the first ed. publishers.
Where I believe I have located a first ed. WorldCat record I have provided the id as a comment in the publisher field (!-- oclc=59945578 --).

Coverage
[edit]Last year I added some coverage with [ref name=bizland] to several of the biographies of Maschler Award winners. This weekend I expanded some and did several others.
These are notes to be replaced by some summary after I re/visited all the biographies. "mere" means that the Maschler Award is named without any explanation (minimally, "integrated writing and illustration").
