Sex in the 90s

Does anyone have any info about Loder's work on the decade long MTV documentary Sex in the 90s? Darwin's Bulldog 20:10, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

A Pro-New York and Anti-LA news reporter for MTV.

Was this reporter known for his often opinionated remarks about showbiz news that occurred in highly-desirable New York and in un-desirable Los Angeles?
Native94080 (talk) 07:09, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Native94080 Uhmmm... What???

Kurt Loder's news reporting on MTV always favored what was happening in New York, and he always gave bad taste to news that was happening in Los Angeles.

Loder's Run

"He is currently working on a new reality series, called Loder's Run: The Quickening. The show will feature Elayne Boosler, Dave Pirner, Michelle Shocked, Ron Reagan Jr., The Beaver Brown Band, and Stuart Pankin as "Wicked Mace"." was unsourced and appears to be a hoax. See http://www.failedpilot.com/2005/09/14/unconscious-consultant/ that the only available reference is a prank call. I'm deleting it. JKPrivett (talk) 04:48, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

GA Review

Reviewer: Wizardman 16:03, 18 November 2009 (UTC) Here are the issues I found with the article:

  • The lead should be two decent paragraphs, or extend the first. Not a long article but it feels like it brushes across everything barely.
  • "He spent two years in college "and just hated it"." where did he attend college?
  • It feels like almost every sentence has a quote. Quotes are good, but overkill isn't; try to reword a few into your own prose.
  • If his tenure at Rolling Stone was as legendary as it sounds, I would think that there would be more on his career there; expand that section a bit.
  • The article seems to jump from job to job, without really mentioning why he left any of them. Some probably can't be found, but I'm sure one or two have rationales noted somewhere.
  • WP:PERSONDATA should be added.

It's certainly not a bad article, but I feel that it needs more work done. Try to expand the article in general on top of what I've noted above. I'm going to fail this; it can be re-nominated after the above is fixed. Wizardman 16:03, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

Libertarian

The citation that is used to prove he is a libertarian didn't mention anything about him being a libertarian. I'm eliminating that until someone finds something substantive. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.163.214.212 (talk) 18:35, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

gay

why hasn't anyone added the appropriate LGBT category? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.162.139.188 (talk) 11:51, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

What's your souce for that allegation?   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 17:58, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
It appears that the alleged source for the allegation, Metal Hammer Magazine, does not have the allegation on line. Even if BLABBERMOUTH.NET was a reliable source (it's not, it's not peer-reviewed), even if Metal Hammer Magazine did publish the interview, even if Sebastian Bach did make the allegation, the allegation still should not be on Wikipedia unless it is confirmed by a reliable source that we can verify, because it could have devastating consequences for Mr. Loder, and for his friends, family, and co-workers.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 01:13, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
Why didn't you remove that stuff? I'm looking at the page now and it still has Bach's allegation on it and it still mentions the word "gay"? I suppose there could be a server glitch... 24.32.204.89 (talk) 18:57, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

The paragraph about the second dispute with Sebastian Bach is clearly a joke or hoax and needs to be removed, unless the person who posted it actually wants to supply verifiable sources for its highly improbable assertions. (Forgive me if this isn't the place to make this notation, but I couldn't figure out where else it would go and would definitely like to see such erroneous statements removed ASAP.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rembrandt 13 (talkcontribs) 06:44, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
