Minion of the Crimson King?

[edit]

This one's been bugging me for awhile. Where, exactly, in The Dark Tower series does it state that Barlow's a minion of the the Crimson King? I know that several vampires are said to serve him, but where does it state that Barlow worked for him? If there's no place where it's mentioned explicitly, that sentence should be removed. --MwNNrules (talk) 00:48, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Barlow's appearance

[edit]

It should at least be noted that Barlow constantly changes his appearance depending on who's looking at him. Sometimes he is young, sometimes old,at one time he has a moustache, then he doesn't,his hair are gray when he speaks with Dud and black when he speaks with Corey etc. During the showdown at the Petries he even resembles imaginary monster from Callahan's childhood. Also I wouldn't call Straker a "colorless person". He seems very sophisticated and well mannered but some people sense something disturbing about him, even if they can't say what it is. His trait of superhuman strenth is also present in the novel, not only in Hooper's adaptation. And of course he has unnaturally long index finger - a common trait of many King's villains. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.150.48.89 (talk) 19:09, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
