Picture?

[edit]

I don't think the pictuer "from space" adds much to the article. Does someone have an image they could use to subsitute for this satellite image? For example, a street scene, a view of the city... Thanks, Hu Gadarn (talk) 18:09, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

population figures off by 1000%?

[edit]

I seriously doubt there are 324 people living in the capital of a Russian province. -- 146.115.187.76 (talk) 06:13, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The number is not off. Someone screwed up the number formatting and used a space instead of a comma, which lead to the {112} part shifting down one line. Thanks for the note though. The problem is now fixed.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); November 29, 2010; 18:41 (UTC)

Kurgan

А кто-нибудь сделает статью про конкретно Курган? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ив-Байдары (talkcontribs) 17:41, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

History

[edit]

I don't think the first historical note should be from the XVIII. century. Kurgan has a rich historical past, which are worth mentioning. Why don't you talk about kurgans? Why not any Sarmatians, Huns, Scythians, Kipchaks, Tatars and the archeological finds connected to them are mentioned nowhere? This land is (used to be) their homeland, history didn't begin here in the XVIII. century! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.183.245.214 (talk) 08:20, 14 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
