Pattern welding vs. damascening
[edit]@Jeblat:, did you mean to say that kujangs are pattern welded, or damascened? You stated the former, but linked to the latter. The two are distinct techniques. --Usernameunique (talk) 01:50, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
- I've changed it to pattern welding instead of Damascus steel as blacksmithing throughout the Malay archipelago has its own tradition, where their version of pattern welding is called pamor. Generally speaking, most people would not exactly regard the pattern welding of Japanese blacksmithing as Damascus steel too. Thanks for pointing it out tho.
