This page is required to list negative alumni

As per Talk:University_of_Massachusetts_Dartmouth#Dzhokhar_Tsarnaev_Not_an_Alumnus. Even though members of the UMass Dartmouth community strongly disliked the idea of listing Dzhokhar_Tsarnaev as an alumnus ("alumnus" here is universally defined as having formerly attended the school, even if they did not graduate), Wikipedians make it clear these articles are not publicity for these schools. Alumni lists do not only include alumni who the schools are proud of, but also alumni that embarrass the school (so long as the alumni are notable for their own Wikipedia articles).

It is the unfortunate truth that Richard Huckle (who we know was a terrible person) attended this institution, and he must be included in the alumni list. WhisperToMe (talk) 21:01, 19 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
