KK's Home Town and Degree

[edit]

I was at University with Kris and he definitely came from Carlisle, not from the North East of England (like me) but the North West. (The "Boy Called Mary" may have given a NE impression if it got the Carlisle accent right as that sounds is more like NE than the typical NW accent of Lancashire). I'm almost as sure that he read "English and American Studies" at Nottingham, not "American Literature". He wasn't much interested in the English part of that, but that was the name of the degree. I can't prove either of these, perhaps someone can? UnaDormienda (talk) 23:46, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
