Spelling of name
[edit]For the record, his name is spelled unusually: "RIED"
This uncommon spelling is confirmed by IMDb.com and his credits card from The Tudors (displayed in the article at the time of this posting). Most reputable sites spell it correctly: Yahoo! TV, Yahoo! Film, Rotten Tomatoes, etc. However, spelling the name "Reid" is a common error on the web, and even on The Tudors website. Please do not move this article to an alternate spelling. - I thought that Kristen is female-only name. 85.217.35.49 (talk) 02:38, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
- Kristen is an old name in Norway, and is apparently pronounced as 'Christian' would be. Don't know why it's spelled that way, but that's it. Yggdrasilly (talk) 08:55, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
Vandalism of article
[edit]WTF? User:Nikkimaria under the guise of editing per wikipedia policy has just vandalized this article. Removing legitimate content from the infobox template. Where is the Admin of this article? Pyxis Solitary (talk) 01:02, 22 December 2014 (UTC)
- Pyxis Solitary, according to the biographies of living persons policy, unsourced or poorly sourced material in such biographies may be removed on sight. As I indicated in my edit summary, the subject's personal details were unsourced. If you are able to provide a reliable source you may re-add the material, but keep in mind that IMDb, Wikia, and similar self-published sources are not considered reliable for biographical details. I would also suggest having a read through WP:NOTVAND - enforcement of policies, even if you disagree, does not constitute vandalism. Nikkimaria (talk) 01:54, 22 December 2014 (UTC)
Birthplace
[edit]The article lists his birthplace as Pickering, ON but IMDb has it listed as Scarborough. I have tried to find a source for either, but most articles just seem to say he grew up on a farm east of Toronto, which isn't very specific. Kingstoken (talk 19:00, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
