Cossack Lopan

My recent addition of Cossack Lopan as an alternative name was reverted by User:Ymblanter with the edit summary of "I do not think this is a valid name of the locality". By way of explanation, I should note that I did not add the name on a whim but because it is sometimes used in external sources. For example:

• Boyko, Ivan (17 March 2022). "Invaders fired cluster bombs at Cossack Lopan in Kharkiv region: six dead, some wounded".

This is just an example of somebody using machine translation when writing an English article, or at least not having any clue about the locality names (I mean the author of the source). The Ukrainian authorities clearly think that the name if Kozacha Lopan, without any additional variants (see e.g. the population estimate reference in the article). If that's what people use then it's an alternative name even if one might disapprove of how they derived the name. Additionally, at least some writers appear to be using Cossack Lopan as an intentional English alternative. For example, the following article looks to have been written by a first language English speaker (i.e. not a machine translation) and deliberately uses both the standard version (Kazacha Lopan) and the alternative (Cossack Lopan):

It's not a personal or self-published blog. It's the newsblog of the The Dupuy Institute (TDI) - a scholarly non-profit military research and analysis organization founded by Trevor N. Dupuy. (see Wikipedia:NEWSBLOG ). While I'd say it was an RS my point here is to establish that there is alternative usage of Cossack Lopan, not cite the TDI. Greenshed (talk) 13:52, 13 June 2022 (UTC)

I am sorry but of people stupidly use Googla translate (Cossack Lopan is absolutely meaningless in English, Ukrainian, and Russian), I do not think we should add this to the article. You probably should look for a third opinion. Ymblanter (talk) 14:16, 13 June 2022 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure that I will not be able to convince you and so - insofar as you suggest that a third opinion would be helpful - I think you're right.
