Is the community centre named after the Hungarian author?

[edit]

I am wondering if any one can confirm if the community centre is named after the Hungarian author Éva Janikovszky, or whether it is a coincidence?

If someone who reads Hungarian can go to kozarmisleny online, they might be able to find out there (and maybe help improve the article in other ways).

Thanks -- Robnpov (talk) 08:56, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What exactly do you need? They didn't say but I think it's named after that person. The description of the center is really short. Hobartimus (talk) 13:55, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I linked the name of the community centre to the Éva Janikovszky page, and wanted to make sure that this was correct. But more generally, it would be great if someone could check that the edits I have made are factually accurate (I started working on this article because it had a copy edit tag - quite hard because I don't speak a word of Hungarian :-) ) Actually the trickiest bit is the sport. I wrote 'The town is also involved in rhythmic gymnastics, basketball, handball and table tennis' because I was able to use an online translator for the Kozármisleny SE website to find these key words. But I don't know whether this is national involvement or just local community sport. I also don't know whether Kozármisleny SE is the name of just the football club, or of the handball club etc? Any help appreciated!!! Robnpov (talk) 21:52, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
They do call the football club SE but sometimes simply Kozármisleny. Seems decent team for NB2 based on some descriptions there. In handball and basketball it's national involvement (second tier like the football), the others are just local/non notable. You might want to see WP:HU if you want to edit more town articles or to find more help possibly. If you write down below which sentences you need translated maybe something can be worked out.
