Official Name BOSANSKA KOSTAJNICA

[edit]

The official Republika Srpska Web stie of the government says that it has changed the name to Web site of municipalities of BiH. Scroll down until it says Kostajnica changed to Bosanska Kostajnica officially

The Constitutional Court of BiH ruled that names of towns/municipalities that cause issues and indifferences have to be changed to the original names. The Republika Srpska web site even says this.

First paragraph

[edit]

Nowhere do lower than state, in this case entity, geographic regions, come before the country when listed. I looked at several different towns such as Cologne, Paris, etc. The Country needs to be listed first and foremost, followed by political and other geographic distinctions.

Even the Banja Luka artcile which is the head town (capital) of the Republika Srpska entity mentions Bosnia-Herzegovina first, since it is in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Bosanska KostajnicaKostajnica – Official name of the town is Kostajnica, without any prefix. Both presentations of the municipality use short form: http://www.opstinakostajnica.rs.ba; http://www.opstina-kostajnica.com/. Anotherblue (talk) 18:53, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
