Actually, Cosmas was killed in the village of Kolkondasi, near Berat.--User:Guildenrich 00:02, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Albanian Spoken in Northern Greece in the 17th century ?

[edit]
Very interesting to find out that Albanian and Aromanian were massively spoken in Northern Greece in the 17th century. Can someone elaborate? Also is it true that at that time the Greeks were called Romanoi and their language Romaikos , while Greece and today's Greek language are creations of the British founded nation in the 18th Century?--24.37.248.124 (talk) 02:00, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Move to Cosmas the Aetolian

[edit]

The current title is obviously wrong. Cosmas was not some kind of religious authority (bishop etc.) in Aetolia. Aetolia was his place of birth. In terms of translation this is also justified ('Kosmas o Aetolias/of Aetolia', means Kosmas bishop of Aetolia in Greek)Alexikoua (talk) 20:37, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Martyrdom

[edit]

His martyrdom is mentioned, but it is never elaborated upon, or even mentioned more than once. Some details would be appreciated: where was he martyred? When was he martyred? Why? By whom? For what reason? BogusBlaster2500 (talk) 03:14, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Oh wait, nevermind. I was wrong. Mea culpa. BogusBlaster2500 (talk) 03:15, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
