"Most famous"
[edit]I'm not sure the November 17 members are really the "most famous" prisoners here; Dimitrios Ioannides is probably more famous. --Delirium (talk) 22:53, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
I'm with you. Zaporozhian (talk) 03:30, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- Ioannides is dead now but I rephrased accordingly. --Greece666 (talk) 18:54, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
"Notable inmates" table
[edit]I've commented out the table because it is currently a gross violation of WP:BLP. Living people should not be described as criminals without a reliable source using an inline citation, i.e. WP:BLPSOURCES and WP:BLPREMOVE apply.
Do not restore the table without providing appropriate sources. Individual properly sourced entries may be restored, and non-complying entries should be commented out or deleted. GregorB (talk) 19:59, 18 February 2014 (UTC)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Korydallos Prison. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20090411182539/http://www.nomarhiapeiraia.gr:80/Templates/deltia_tipou/2007/maios/16-05-2007/16-05-2007b.htm to http://www.nomarhiapeiraia.gr/Templates/deltia_tipou/2007/maios/16-05-2007/16-05-2007b.htm

Wikiprojects
[edit]I added the Wikiprojects Wikipedia:WikiProject_Anarchism, Wikipedia:WikiProject Terrorism and Wikipedia:WikiProject_Socialism and Wikipedia:WikiProject_Crime due to the amount of 'political prisoners' in Koydallos Prison, many of the news sources in which is it is mentioned reflects this. And 'WP Crime' for well, obvious reasons I feel. Feel free to ping me if it was a bad decision. Danke. SP00KYtalk 01:24, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
- @W1tchkr4ft 00, eh, Crime makes sense, as a prison, but I don't see a defining connection to the scope of Anarchism, Socialism, or Terrorism based on the current sources. czar 22:54, 29 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Czar: Right. I was unsure to add it too, but my logic was because to many people certain wings of Korydallos prison are considered essentially political wings. Often when we hear about the prison in the english speaking world it is relating to crimes of left/anarchist guerrillas and of it's underground special underground wing and courts which is often used in the holding and trials of such people. You could well already know this and I will of course defer to you here but I thought I should let you see the thinking before removing. Cheers. SP00KYtalk 11:46, 30 May 2021 (UTC)
- If the article is expanded and the sourcing clearly shows a major connection with incarcerated anarchists/socialists, sounds like it'd be a shoo-in. But currently the affiliation appears indirect. For a parallel case, Montjuïc trial is tagged within the project but not the prison itself (Montjuïc Castle), based on their direct/indirect affiliation. czar 18:45, 30 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Czar: Understood. Thanks as always, Czar. :) SP00KYtalk 13:51, 31 May 2021 (UTC)
