This is one of hundreds of pages I have altered over the last few days, I did not single this one out at random.

The do not have to be centred, it is a matter of aesthetics -- I happen to think it looks better -- but if you do not then lets leave in on the left. Most ancestry trees and family trees like these are collapsed. As you do not like it, I have defaulted it to open, then those who want to close it can do so. -- PBS (talk) 19:03, 7 April 2015 (UTC)

OK, I in the process of undoing my last edit, you were appearently editing it and I had an edit conflict. Is there a reason that the text was shrunk down even more when you added the frame? I had to remove the font size parameter to restore the readabiliy. I disagree that this type of chart looks better centered. I also was just looking at the documentation and was about to add the |collapsed=no parameter. Is there any reason not to remove the unused Notes: tag at the bottom? Nyth63 19:05, 7 April 2015 (UTC)

OK, I am just used posting on user pages for non-content (formatting related) discussions. The above notes are not signed to prevent them from being archived. I am in the process of writing more biographies for other members of this family and there were at one time two other editors that were interested in adopting persons to write articles. They seem to have not followed up but I would like to retain the above notes for notability and background until I get to each person. I have been deleting sections as the related biographical articles are completed. Nyth63 19:20, 7 April 2015 (UTC)

To answer the questions in sequence. No there was no specific reason to shrink the text down more, If I had realised I would have made the same alteration. I have removed the notes section at the bottom of the tree. I have been including them, because for many formatting the entries in descendant and ancestry trees is done inside the tree, as often the sources for the trees are different from those used to support notable events in the life of a subject of an article. However in this case there is no good reason for keeping it, but like information in the body of all articles, the information in the trees needs to be supported by in-line citations.

That's fine, I only mentioned the lack of signatures and archiving as information because not everyone realises that the bots do not archive such sections.
