Merged Knowledge discovery into Knowledge extraction
[edit]I started a topic Knowledge_extraction and merged this article into it, as it seemed to fit quite good. SebastianHellmann (talk) 10:54, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
- It looks like the merger was begun, but not completed, so I went ahead and completed the merger and redirected to this article. WTF? (talk) 21:20, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
- I find the redirect confusing. Knowledge discovery is the term used in data mining for the process of extracting patterns from data. Here, knowledge extraction has more to do on transforming unstructured sources to structured formats. The focus on RDF/Semantic Web is also too narrow. I would make the last section on Knowledge discovery the first and main content of the article, or undo the merge. Amerono (talk) 07:29, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
