When You reed the Book of Exodus 25:31-40, You can know, that six branches (not seven branches) Menora is constructed of. The central element it is not a branch! Menora is connected: 1/. with Exodus from Egypt and 2/. with 6-element literary structure of the Book of Exodus 1-18: see external links:

Bit worried as the text says it was given by the Parliament of the UK when it was actually the British Labour Party - all the names of the people and companies who gave money for it are engraved on the Menorah.
It was also made in England, by a famous foundery in the Midlands but I am not sure which one
Only 25% of the quoted text deals with the description of a menorah AND palm trees. The remaining 3/4 (!) has no connection whatsoever to the menorah. Even the Menorah-related part doesn't seem to refer to the TEMPLE Menorah. It takes so much space... Is all of it really needed? Arminden (talk) 19:29, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
