Newcastle United??

It is said that KR adopted the colours of whoever own the English championship in 1912 and consequently chose Newcastle United's black and whitestripes. Except that it was Blackburn Rovers who won that year !! Beru91 (talk) 14:00, 17 August 2008 (UTC)

Yes, they probably did this sooner, possibly when Newcastle won in 1909. It's reported in a 1912 Icelandic newspaper that KR took to the field wearing white and black outfits, but it isn't clear from the description whether they were the style of the Newcastle jersey. finval (talk) 16:18, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
