merge?[edit]

I was surprised to find the list of the Kings of Jorvik on Jórvík but not on this page. Perhaps they should be merged? --Jake 05:51, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Personally I'd support the merge, IMO it should be redirected specifically to the "Jórvík#Kings of Jórvík" section. - Yorkshirian 00:55, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge?[edit]

I don't really see any reason why this needs a separate article from List of monarchs of Northumbria. "Jorvik" was not a Viking camp, but an English city, the seat of an archbishopric and the kingdom of Northumbria. The rulers here were not separate "Kings of York" (a modern invention) but kings of Northumbria. Deacon of Pndapetzim (Talk) 02:11, 12 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
