2KEH

[edit]

Regarding the removal of this paragraph (by User:185.30.26.97, twice):

A second regiment, 2nd King Edward's Horse, was raised in 1914 by John (later Sir John) Norton-Griffiths, at his own expense.[1] The original regiment was subsequently known as 1st King Edward's Horse. The 2KEH was disbanded in August 1917 with many of its members being transferred to the Tank Corps.[2]

I think the information about the 2KEH is useful to include in some form, especially with relation to the KEH being sometimes referred to as 1KEH as it makes it clear where the '1' comes from.

I agree and have transferred the information to a new article: see 2nd King Edward's Horse. Dormskirk (talk) 09:24, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Great, thanks! Looks good. Sam Wilson 22:25, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
