Kinara not "based" on Jewish menorah
[edit]The current article suggests that the Kinara was "based" on the Jewish menorah. This is misleading. The word kinara is Swahili for "candle holder". There are many East African traditions of using candle holders that hold a differing number of candles and none of them are based on the menorah. The first participants of Kwanzaa, barring the availability of a traditional Swahili candle holder, simply USED a menorah and then broke off two of the holders (which is exactly what both articles reference state). Further, if you notice the construction of a traditionally built Kinara and a menorah, they are not constructed the same. Africologist (talk) 01:18, 28 December 2022 (UTC)
