Things to do

[edit]

Per a request from Victor, here's a more specific version of Wikipedia:Writing better articles as pertains to this one's current state:

  1. Add sections, so that there's a lede and one or two body sections each with a separate topic (like "History" and "Programs").
  2. Add better verification by citing independent published sources like newspapers or magazine articles.
  3. Use citation templates. The "ProveIt" gadget you can enable in your preferences makes this significantly easier.
  4. Try to pare down the external links to just the offical website and maybe one other really essential thing. A good Wikipedia article always has more references than external links.
  5. Just use one stub template (make a judgement call).

Let me know if you need more. Steven Walling • talk 00:19, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Is this a memorial or a charity?

[edit]

The answer seems to be both but the article is written in a confusing way. The lede and short description make it sound like just a memorial but the text makes clear it's also an organization that built a memorial. Is it a registered charity? does it work in schools or are these activities performed at the memorial itself? DavidSSabb (talk) 05:06, 21 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It’s a charity that built a memorial, feel free to edit :) Victor Grigas (talk) 17:29, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
