This is one of the best places to live in the Tokyo area. Inokashira park is so beautiful in the fall time and a great place to go grab some shumai, yakitori and gyoza.

Definitely. I love Kichijoji.

Just a note to those who love macrons: they are fine for display purposes, but I believe they are generally dispreferred in URLs. I just changed back the link to Chuo Main Line to the "plain" version, because that one is an existing page. Let's remember: those that don't speak Japanese aren't gonna pronounce vowels any differently because of the macrons, so we don't always need to be so anal about it :-) And to add my personal note: I lived in Kichijoji in 1992-93 and loved it as well. Bit expensive though :-) I trained in aikido at Gessouji temple in the Sun Road. Djiann 16:36, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, Kichijōji is a nice place. I like it as well.

With a few (debatable) exceptions, Wikipedia is moving to embrace macrons. See WP:MOS-JA for details. To those that macrons are meaningless, they can easily ignore them. For others, they hold a lot of meaning. Their presence can be ignored; however, it is difficult to infer them from their absence. Bendono 23:55, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Photos

Is the photo that says 'Kichijoji Station' actually of the station? It seems to be the space in front of it. Perhaps we should rename it?

The picture of the station is pretty bad indeed. I will take one as soon as I can and replace this blurry one taken by someone who I think was well on their way to Tsutaya when they decided to turn around and take the picture ;) --Ubardak (talk) 07:02, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
